Duties, Responsibilities & Other
Key Responsibilities:
Draft survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D, Carlson and or MicroStation ORD, ensuring they meet the required standards for KCI, and approval by federal, state, and local agencies.
Work with a team of survey technicians and drafters under the supervision of a project manager/Professional Land Surveyor to support the practice.
Review and interpret land survey standards, technical documents, and local jurisdiction details.
Place Utility One Calls, manage responses from One Call requests, and interpret and process the utility data.
Prepare thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, sketches, and plans with guidance from senior technicians and project managers/Professional Land Surveyors.
Able to review projects with customer(s) and answer technical questions.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring projects meet ISO compliance requirements.
Strive to achieve or exceed the budgeted individual utilization target.
Attend bi-weekly or more frequent meetings with project teams to discuss progress and address any issues.
Consult and coordinate with other practices and sub-consultants as required.
Demonstrate commitment to team performance and actively participate in meetings.
Complete all assigned tasks on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project scope.
Compare field data to base plans to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications
Education and/or Skills Required:
