The Fleet Mechanic 2 is responsible for performing preventive maintenance and repairs on company trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure they remain roadworthy. They must interpret repair manuals, follow safety protocols, and may be required to respond to roadside service calls.
Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED along with either vocational training and one year of experience or three years of related experience. Proficiency in diagnosing diesel trucks, power-trains, and brakes is required, while a CDL is preferred.
