The Maintenance Planner coordinates the flow of work and materials by managing work orders, PM schedules, and production timelines. They are responsible for monitoring progress, maintaining inventory levels, and compiling reports on costs and maintenance issues.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in a production or maintenance environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong organizational and communication skills are preferred.
Job Summary
The Maintenance Planner expedites the flow of work and materials within the maintenance department according to work orders and the production schedule. Their duties include reviewing and distribution of work orders, and PM schedules; conferring with department supervisors to determine progress of work and completion dates; and compiling reports on progress of work, inventory levels, costs, and maintenance problems.
