Tempe Mechanical is a commercial Mechanical & Plumbing contractor - we do not perform residential work. This role requires verifiable commercial HVAC service experience. If your background is primarily residential split systems and package units on rooftops of homes, this is not the right fit. Who We Are
Tempe Mechanical has been one of Arizona's premier commercial HVAC and plumbing contractors for over 35 years. We serve commercial, healthcare, municipal, and institutional clients across the Greater Phoenix Valley. Our service department runs on ServiceTrade, holds technicians to a real documentation standard, and backs them with a Service Manager who owns dispatch, scope clarity, and job readiness - so you can focus on the work.
The Role
You'll be a lead diagnostic technician on complex commercial equipment. This is a role for a technician who can walk onto a site cold, pull up the sequence of operations, and work a problem to root cause - not a parts-changer role.

$38 – $56 per hour including performance-based incentive bonuses. Final rate is set based on demonstrated commercial experience and equipment proficiency, verified in a technical interview. Top-of-range candidates should expect a technical evaluation covering VRF, WSHP, and commercial diagnostics.
