Job Posting Description:
Contract: Up to 12 months
Are you passionate about improving data quality and turning complex information into actionable insights? Reporting to the Operations Analyst (Supply Chain), you will help ensure the quality and integrity of vendor master data across the organization. You will monitor data health, strengthen controls, improve processes, and provide insights that support informed decision-making.

About the Role
Review, prioritize, and approve or reject changes to vendor master data.
Develop, implement, and report on data quality metrics and KPIs.
Conduct data quality audits, monitor trends, and identify issues and root causes. Connect data issues to upstream processes, downstream reporting, user experience, and business risk
Implement quality controls, validation rules, and supporting processes.
Analyze vendor master data processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with IT, the Data Governance Office, and business teams to define standards and implement process changes.
Support data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices across the organization.
Provide guidance, training, and day-to-day support to Data Specialists, including assistance with complex data quality issues.
Lead or support cross-functional vendor master data projects, including plans, timelines, risks, and deliverables.
Present recommendations and decision-ready insights to stakeholders and senior management.
About You
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in data management or a related field, including data quality and process improvement.
Experience working with vendor, supplier, procurement, finance, or supply chain master data is considered an asset. Strong ability to understand end-to-end business processes.
Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Advanced Excel and reporting skills; experience with Power BI, SQL, workflow tools, or data quality platforms is an asset.
Strong skills in data, analysis, attention to detail, and problem-solving.
Knowledge of data management, data governance, data quality frameworks, data modelling, and data architecture principles.
Experience managing multiple priorities and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
Ability to communicate complex data concepts and actionable insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in training, coaching, and team leadership.
