The Senior Help Desk Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for technical issues, prioritizing and resolving high-priority IT and radiology-specific application requests. They are responsible for mentoring junior staff, managing escalated tickets, and ensuring the stability of healthcare integration standards.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and at least four years of related technical helpdesk experience. Proficiency in Windows environments, PC hardware, and specialized radiology systems like PACS and RIS is required.
Summary: As the initial or escalated phone contact for clients, the senior help desk employee collects detailed information and prioritizes service requests in order to determine resolution or a method of escalation.
General Description: The Senior Help Desk Specialist must be able to work effectively and efficiently to identify and resolve multiple high priority issues in a fast paced office environment with constant interruptions and continual deadlines. This position must demonstrate professionalism to the client in order to positively affect customer’s impression of our support. This position must have excellent organizational skills, a sense of urgency, the ability to make good decisions, and the skills needed to effectively prioritize tasks.
