The Senior Director of Delivery and Execution is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the R&D portfolio, including managing schedules, quality, and capacity. They will lead a team of five directors, drive organizational transformation through AI integration, and manage relationships with external partners.
Candidates must have at least ten years of experience in software development or delivery, with five years in a management role overseeing other managers. Proficiency in Agile at scale, experience in organizational transformation, and bilingualism in French and English are required.
Relevant du Vice-Président, Recherche et Développement, le Directeur Sénior, Livraison et exécution est le responsable unique de la livraison de l’organisation Recherche et Développement. Il dirige les cinq directeurs de la R&D et répond, devant la direction et devant les clients, des engagements de livraison du portefeuille : échéanciers, qualité, capacité et arbitrage des priorités.
Le poste a été créé pour établir une redevabilité claire de l’exécution, là où la coordination de plusieurs directions et le suivi des projets majeurs dépassaient la capacité d’un seul palier. Le titulaire ne coordonne pas la livraison : il en est comptable.
Le rôle comporte deux mandats séquencés. Stabiliser les engagements de livraison, établir la cadence, les indicateurs et la gouvernance qui rendent l’exécution visible avant qu’elle dérape. Produire et amorcer un plan de transformation de la livraison, notamment en déléguant à des agents d’IA les activités de suivi, de production des états d’avancement et de préparation d’analyse, afin de concentrer le temps de ses directeurs sur la décision et l’encadrement.
Le titulaire supervise également les projets majeurs menés avec des partenaires et intégrateurs externes, et porte la relation d’exécution avec ces fournisseurs.
Leader autonome et hautement motivé, il valorise le succès collectif, la satisfaction des clients et la rigueur d’exécution. Il opère dans un environnement bilingue, francophone et anglophone, en mode télétravail, au sein d’une organisation de solutions logicielles destinées au réseau de la santé au Québec.
Ce poste offre l’occasion de bâtir la fonction de livraison d’une organisation R&D en pleine transformation, avec un mandat explicite pour en redéfinir les façons de faire.
