Lead the facilities team in managing physical infrastructure, power, cooling, and security for primary, backup, and colocation data centers. Ensure high availability and compliance with federal standards while overseeing capacity planning and vendor relationships.
Requires at least 10 years of management experience, 8 years in data center facilities, and ITIL v3 certification. Must be a U.S. citizen capable of obtaining a Public Trust clearance with expertise in NIST SP 800-53 and automation tools.
Peraton is seeking an experienced Data Facilities Management Team Lead that will be responsible for the physical infrastructure, power, cooling, environmental monitoring, and physical security of the Customer's Primary Data Center and Backup Data Center as well as the colocation facilities. The ideal candidate ensures that the physical environment supporting 4,700+ virtual servers and 850+ physical servers maintains the highest levels of availability, efficiency, and compliance with federal data center standards and the customer's physical security requirements.
Day to Day Roles and Responsibilities:
Location; Will work onsite at the customer's Primary Data Center in Northern Virgina with periodic travel to secondary site.
