The professional is responsible for implementing daily curriculum and programming while ensuring the safety and supervision of all youth participants. They will facilitate lesson plans in areas such as STEAM, athletics, and literacy to promote a fun and inclusive environment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and 2,500 hours of experience working with children. Required certifications include a health physical, TB test, various background clearances, and Mandated Reporter certification.
The Youth Development Professional will be hands-on with the youth to implement curriculum and programming on a day-to-day basis. This role is responsible for the supervision and safety of all program participants as well as relationship building. This role will ensure that they follow all DHS Chapter 3270 Regulations and BGCA Safety requirements.
