This position is ideal for an engineer who is passionate about transforming hardware design verification through Generative AI and intelligent automation. You will play a key role in developing and deploying LLM-powered tools, AI agents, and automated workflows that accelerate verification productivity and improve coverage, debug efficiency, and overall design quality.
Working at the intersection of AI and semiconductor verification, you will help build the next generation of AI-assisted and self-verifying verification environments, enabling faster and smarter hardware development.
THE PERSON:
The ideal candidate is a curious, forward-thinking engineer with a passion for applying AI/ML technologies to complex engineering problems, particularly within hardware design verification.
You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working across multi-site engineering teams to solve challenging technical problems. You bring strong analytical thinking, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to explore new technologies that can improve engineering workflows and productivity.
You are excited by the opportunity to push the boundaries of verification methodologies by leveraging modern AI techniques and automation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
AI-Enhanced Verification: Develop and refine ML/AI-driven strategies to automate specification analysis, RTL/Testbench generation, and intelligent debug cycles.
Agentic Frameworks: Build and deploy sophisticated AI Agents using Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to bridge the gap between LLMs and internal engineering tools.
Modern Dev Environment: Architect and maintain high-performance development setups utilizing AI-native IDEs and extensions.
Software Design: Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code for verification infrastructure, data mining, and internal web frameworks.
Cloud & DevOps: Deploy AI-driven tools across cloud infrastructures (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI) and integrate them into automated CI/CD pipelines

Programming: Proficiency in Python, C/C++, or Object-Oriented Perl.
Core Concepts: Strong grasp of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), databases, and web frameworks.
Hardware Knowledge: Familiarity with hardware description and verification languages such as SystemVerilog, UVM, and Assertions.
Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of deploying tools in AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI.
DevOps: Understanding of CI/CD workflows using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Version Control: Competency with Git or Perforce.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to present complex AI methodologies clearly to diverse teams.
ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Education: BS or MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
