The Technical Writer is responsible for creating end-user help guides, operational process flows, and documentation for a suite of aviation maintenance applications. This includes collaborating with subject matter experts to elicit user workflows and ensuring all content adheres to departmental style guidelines.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communications, or a related field, or have four years of practical experience. Proficiency in technical writing software and Microsoft Office is required, along with the ability to provide writing samples.
Description
TRAX USA Corp., a global leader in aviation maintenance software, seeks a Technical Writer to join the Technical Writing team. Technical Writers are responsible for providing effective information for end users and must be eager to learn and apply best-practice technical communication techniques such as information gathering, task and audience analysis, process flow creation, and content delivery. The Technical Writing team documents all end user help guides for Trax’s suite of apps (including various web applications and iOS apps).
As experience grows, this role expands into process documentation, workflow analysis, and capturing operational best practices—skills often associated with business analysis.
