Job DetailsJob Location: iLIFE Main - Milwaukee, WI 53233Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High School Diploma, HSED or GEDTravel Percentage: Minimal; Less than 10%Job Category: Nonprofit - Social ServicesJob Purpose: The Document Specialist position is responsible for managing IRIS program document submission inboxes, creating work requests to provide work for other teams, reviewing documents, and effectively communicating with customers and co-workers. Essential Job Functions: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.)
Reviews and provides documents to proper departments for ongoing processing
Locates and saves documents for record retention purposes
Effectively manages escalation within the department by ensuring appropriate accountability, sense of urgency, communication, and follow through to closure
Responsible for suggesting methods to improve area operations, efficiency, and service to both internal and external customers
Other duties as assignedQualificationsRequired Education, Experience, Certifications, Licensure and Credentials: (Where appropriate, education and/or experience may be substituted)
Minimum Required Education: High School Diploma/GED is required Minimum Required Experience: Previous experience in a detail-oriented, multiple-systems role preferred Required License – Certification – Registration: none Issued By Governing Body (if applicable): Travel Type: Less than 10%
