The Wound Care Nurse assesses, treats, and creates care plans for patients with complex wounds, ostomies, and continence conditions. They also provide clinical consultation, perform evaluations for admissions, and conduct in-service training for staff.
Candidates must be a licensed LPN in good standing with 1-2 years of wound care experience. Long-term care experience and Wound Care Certification (WOCN) are preferred.
