The facilitator will lead and develop innovative virtual and in-person creative programs for older adults to foster connection and well-being. They will work closely with staff and community partners to deliver engaging experiences that reflect the diverse interests of the participants.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and have at least three years of experience in creative arts program facilitation and content development. Strong communication skills and the ability to travel throughout Chicagoland for in-person programming are required.
We are seeking a creative, engaging, and relationship-oriented Creative Engagement Facilitator to support meaningful connections and enriching experiences for older adults across our communities and partner sites. In this role, you will lead existing programs while developing innovative and stimulating experiences that inspire creativity, curiosity, and social connection. Programs may include visual arts, discussion-based learning, gardening, aromatherapy, and other creative engagement opportunities designed to support healthy aging and lifelong learning.
This role is ideal for an energetic facilitator, lifelong learner, and creative thinker who thrives in both virtual and in-person environments. Working closely with Community Initiatives staff, community partners, and participants, you will design and deliver engaging experiences that reflect the interests, needs, and diverse backgrounds of older adults throughout Chicagoland. You will have the opportunity to combine program facilitation with program development, helping to shape new experiences that foster connection, creativity, purpose, and well-being.
