The Rapid Rehousing Specialist assists homeless youth in obtaining and maintaining permanent housing through case management, apartment searches, and landlord coordination. They also provide crisis intervention, independent living skills training, and ongoing supportive services to ensure self-sufficiency.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Education, or a related field with at least one year of experience, or an equivalent work history. A valid driver's license is required to perform the duties of the role.

Overview:
The Rapid Rehousing Specialist(s) will assist homeless Transition Age Youth ages 18-24 in obtaining and maintaining permanent housing. Some youth will be provided rental assistance and others not, but all will receive supportive services by the Rapid Rehousing Specialist, including basic and independent living skills assessment, training, supervision, and referrals and support, as needed. The Specialist will assist clients in apartment searches, working with landlords, moving into and setting up their apartments, and other activities to ensure self-sufficiency and housing stability. Our Specialists will also develop and maintain landlord connections within the community. Approximately 50 youth will be served annually.
Schedule: Full-Time flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends
