Opportunity Overview
As the Facilities Operations Manager you will ensure that the communities assigned to you across our Tampa and Orlando markets conform to company standards, and that avenues are explored on an on-going basis to achieve more efficient operating practices including cost savings options and asset preservation. We expect that you will maintain consistency within our communities, assist in budget preparation and be accountable for specific capital projects in your assigned portfolio.
Your Day-to-Day
Lead and oversee maintenance and safety programs across multiple communities. Support hiring and onboarding of maintenance staff; provide hands-on backup during staffing gaps. Train site teams to ensure compliance with safety protocols and company procedures. Assist with capital improvement projects, from planning to vendor selection and progress reporting. Source and negotiate with vendors; help execute contracts and manage project bids. Monitor project progress, troubleshoot issues, and deliver clear, solution-focused updates. Investigate job site incidents to ensure safety and procedural compliance. Review and manage expenditures in coordination with Community and Regional Managers. Support the VP of Facilities with special projects and other assigned duties.
