The New Service Seller will identify and qualify potential customers to promote, quote, and sell fire protection products and service contracts. The ideal candidate possesses three to five years of successful B2B outside sales experience, preferably within the fire and life safety industry. A high school diploma or GED is required, while a bachelor's degree is preferred, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong communication skills.

Call on new and existing customers to survey, promote, quote, and sell our full offerings of fire protection products, systems, and services.
Qualify potential buyers of service contracts by scheduling sales calls and educating customers on our full fire and life safety service offering.
Maintain accurate and complete records of all sales calls and related activities.
Submit all sales reports (forecasts), and expenses in a timely manner.
Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy for each account.
Close sufficient sales to an assigned sales goal.
Maintain quotes in our Service Trade Software Platform.
Coordinate with our Service Department for work that needs to be scheduled once sold.

Headquartered in Mobile, Alabama, Hiller extends its reach globally as well as locally with offices in Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Nevada, South Carolina, Texas, Utah and Virginia. Hiller's service organization provides inspections, routine and emergency maintenance for fire suppression, detection, sprinkler and other systems. We also service and recharge fire extinguishers for all market areas; including commercial buildings, restaurants, industrial plants, oil platforms and ships. Our personnel are NICET-certified and factory-trained by our key suppliers and we maintain DOT-approved hydrostatic testing, dry chemical, CO2, FM200 and Halon 1301 refill stations. Hiller also offers a variety of products and parts to support our customers. These products include portable and fixed fire extinguishers, hoses, hose reels, nozzles, foam and other material/equipment involved in fire detection and suppression. We also provide safety equipment such as gloves, fire resistant clothing, safety glasses, masks, air breathing apparatus and other similar items. These products are sold from inventory or shipped directly to our customers from our vendors. The following vendors we have on schedule include Ansul, Amerex, Kidde, Siemens, Survivair, Akron Brass and Gentex, just to name a few.
