PURPOSE STATEMENT:
Responsible for providing personal care services to patients at the facility under the direction of clinical or nursing leadership. Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always. When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints. Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
· Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred.
· CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
· First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.

Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, provides comprehensive, personalized inpatient treatment for adults age 18 and older of all genders who have been struggling with mental and behavioral health concerns such as anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Our facility also offers dual diagnosis programming for adults who have a primary diagnosis of a mental health disorder and a co-occurring substance use disorder. Personalized inpatient treatment is a hallmark of care at Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital. Each new patient completes a series of thorough assessments to ensure that we have identified and are prepared to address the full scope of their needs. Our assessment process includes a medical history and physical examination, a psychiatric evaluation, a nursing assessment, a psychosocial assessment, and other evaluations as needed. The information we gather during this process guides the development of each patient’s personalized inpatient treatment plan. Depending on each patient’s unique history, needs, and goals, their inpatient treatment at Glenwood Behavioral Health Hospital may include pharmacotherapy, individual therapy, multiple forms of group therapy, family therapy and family support sessions, activity therapy, milieu therapy, dietary services, nursing services, psychiatric services, psychological services, and social services. Inpatient mental health treatment for adults at our center in Cincinnati, Ohio, is provided by an interdisciplinary team of experienced professionals within a safe, welcoming, and respectful environment. Prior to transitioning out of our care, all patients receive detailed discharge plans. These customized documents include information about the step-down programming options, professional services, and community-based resources that will support the patient’s efforts to maintain and build on the progress they make while they are
