The Clinical Applications Specialist is responsible for the implementation, training, and ongoing support of the LumiSystem within the Northeast territory. This includes leading system installations, providing on-site case support for surgeons, and ensuring long-term clinical adoption and site success.
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience as a clinical specialist in medical devices or as an OR nurse. The role requires the ability to travel up to 75% and a proven track record of success in a clinical or startup environment.

The Clinical Applications Specialist plays a critical role in Lumicell’s first commercialization phase, serving as a trusted clinical partner to healthcare customers throughout the Northeast territory. This position is responsible for the successful implementation, training, and ongoing support of the LumiSystem, ensuring seamless integration into clinical workflows and sustained adoption across customer sites. The Specialist works closely with surgeons, nursing staff, and hospital stakeholders to deliver exceptional customer experiences, optimize operational performance, and support long-term account success. This is a unique opportunity to join a growing company as a foundational member of the commercial team and help shape the future of Lumicell’s customer engagement and clinical excellence.

Illuminate Cancer in Real Time
Lumicell is a privately held company focused on innovative fluorescence-guided technologies for cancer surgery with the potential to improve patient outcomes and reduce healthcare costs. The company’s first product is the Lumicell Direct Visualization System, designed to provide real-time illumination of cancerous tissue within the breast cavity during the initial lumpectomy, potentially reducing repeat surgeries. Lumicell’s proprietary, pan-oncologic optical imaging agent is also being explored across a wide variety of solid tumor indications. The company aims to enhance the standard of care treatment by guiding the resection of additional cancer that may have otherwise been left behind.
