The Clinical Pharmacist II provides direct patient care, performs clinical pharmacy activities, and oversees pharmacists in training. Responsibilities include rounding with medical teams, evaluating drug orders for safety and cost, and supervising drug distribution operations.
Requires a BS Pharmacy or Pharm.D. degree and a California Pharmacist License, with BLS and ACLS certifications. A BPS or nationally recognized certification is required within two years of hire, and PGY1 residency or 3 years of experience is preferred.
