Conduct comprehensive audiological examinations and hearing aid evaluations for residents in skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Responsibilities include dispensing and adjusting hearing aids, performing cerumen management, and maintaining clinical documentation via EMR.
A Doctorate of Audiology (AuD) is required, though a master's degree is acceptable for those who graduated before 2006. Candidates must have a strong background in hearing aid dispensing, fitting, and repairs.
