Travel to skilled nursing and long-term care facilities to conduct eye exams and interpret diagnostic results. Diagnose and treat ocular diseases while educating patients, families, and staff on vision protocols.
Candidates must hold a Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree and possess an active state license. The role is suitable for optometrists at any stage of their career who are compassionate toward geriatric and underserved communities.
