The Zookeeper II is responsible for the daily care, feeding, and medical support of assigned animals while maintaining clean and safe exhibits. This role also involves public engagement, conservation activities, and mentoring volunteers to support the zoo's mission.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and have at least three years of experience in animal care at an AZA-accredited facility. Proficiency in animal husbandry, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform physical tasks like exhibit maintenance are required.
