Requires an Associate degree with specific biology and chemistry credits and certification as a Histotechnician or Histotechnologist (ASCP). At least one year of laboratory experience in histology is required.

Expected pay for this position is $35.58 - $41.86/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
Assists management in overseeing and directing work of technical personnel engaged in performing various routine and complex laboratory tests. In doing so, establishes work priorities, organizes and assigns work to laboratory personnel. Performs more complex and/or non-routine testing procedures and regularly checks validity and accuracy of test results obtained by laboratory personnel. Performs the duties of the technical personnel in assigned section on a regular basis.
