The Senior Relationship Manager oversees complex client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and efficient problem resolution. They proactively identify growth opportunities, manage client projects, and provide expert advice on regulatory changes and industry trends.
Requirements
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience in the financial industry. Possession of FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses is required, while CFA or CAIA designations are preferred.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $185,000 and $210,000 per year* (see below footnote for additional compensation and benefits information).

Role Description:
The individual in this role will oversee assigned highly complex client relationships, ensuring satisfaction, a prompt response to client needs, efficient problem resolution, contract and operational compliance, and risk mitigation. This will include utilizing deep expertise to proactively identify potential growth opportunities that will help clients achieve their goals as well as be responsible for relationships that are typically large and often span multiple products/services. A Senior Relationship Manager role requires 8+ years of experience and specialized knowledge in products like ETFs, SMAs, mutual funds, and alternatives.
Responsibilities
Proactively consults on large, highly complex client relationships and ensures continued client satisfaction and retention and that client needs are met.
Advises clients on best practices, organizational solutions, and regulatory changes.
Promotes firm services and offerings to assigned clients based on understanding of clients' objectives to increase client revenue from clients whose business may affect business unit or regional financial performance for the firm.
Identifies cross-sell opportunities for products and services that may span across multiple segments/channels.
Will structure deals in the best interests of the client and the firm.
Directly manages highly complex client projects and oversees the successful execution of client initiatives.
Tracks and reports on client metrics. Responsible for the identification and development of appropriate metrics.
Develop and executes client service strategy for relationships assigned and ensures successful client relationship performance, including asset and client retention.
Serves as an expert on best practices, new regulatory requirements, industry trends, and competitor services/offerings throughout the client service function.
Contributes to developing recommendations on how to integrate these developments into process or policy changes.
Partners with various internal groups (marketing, compliance, legal, products, etc.) for the complex onboarding due diligence efforts for custom solutions.
Support sales efforts and lead prospect finals meetings.
Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
8+ years of total relevant work experience
FINRA Series 7 and 66 (or equivalent)
Ability to travel as required to meet with clients, up to 20% of the time
CFA or CAIA designation preferred

*base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, corporate and functional title and duties, job-related knowledge and advanced degrees, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
