Sales Specialist
Essity is looking for a commercially driven team member who shares our values and commitment to improving everyday life through our hygiene and health products. We are seeking a Sales Specialist to manage, develop, and grow the TENA business within your assigned territory. In this role, you will combine your expertise in continence care with strong commercial skills to drive sales growth, customer partnerships, and long-term account development.
About the Role
Your mission is to actively manage and expand a portfolio of customers by building strong relationships, identifying opportunities, and positioning TENA products and solutions. You will play a key role in driving revenue, increasing market share, and strengthening Essity’s position as a trusted partner in continence care. In this role you will report to the Strategic Account Manager.
What you will do
Manage and develop a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
Proactively identify and acquire new business opportunities within your territory.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, combining clinical knowledge with commercial insights.
Drive sales of the TENA product range and associated solutions, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Lead account planning activities, including setting objectives, identifying growth.
opportunities, and executing account strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Support and lead tender processes, including preparation, follow-up, and negotiations.
Negotiate contracts and ensure effective contract management and follow-up.
lan, implement, and evaluate product trials and present outcomes to customers (TENA Solutions approach).
Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
Assess customer needs and provide tailored training and education on products, processes, and continence care standards.
Gather and share market, customer, and competitor insights to support business strategy.
Maintain accurate customer data and activities in CRM systems.
Collaborate closely with distribution partners and internal stakeholders to drive customer success.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in nursing, healthcare, or a commercial field.
Experience in sales and account management (preferably within healthcare or medical devices).
Strong commercial mindset with proven ability to drive sales growth.
Affinity with the healthcare sector; experience in continence care is a plus.
Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
Confident in presenting, negotiating, and influencing customers.
Experience with tenders and public procurement is an advantage.
Proactive, results-driven, and able to work independently.
