The Associate Underwriter supports the management of an underwriter's book of business by evaluating, classifying, and rating risks to prepare quotes. They are also responsible for processing policies, managing retail agent relationships, and assisting with new business development.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and preferably have 2+ years of experience in underwriting support or excess and surplus lines. Proficiency in sales, marketing, and a strong attention to detail are also preferred.
