A Day in the Life:
JOB SUMMARY
Support the execution of integrated Marketing Communications and Retail Marketing initiatives that drive customer engagement and elevate the Tory Burch brand across all consumer touchpoints in Japan. The Associate will serve as the operational backbone of the Marketing team, ensuring the seamless planning, coordination and execution of 360° local marketing programs while partnering closely with Retail, PR, eCommerce, CRM, Visual Merchandising and New York Headquarters.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
I. Marketing Communications & Campaign Operations
Support the execution of seasonal and year-round 360° marketing activations across retail, digital, CRM and brand communication channels.
Coordinate 360 program timelines and ensure all marketing deliverables are completed according to schedule.
Liaise with Retail, Merchandising, PR, Visual Merchandising, CRM and eCommerce teams to facilitate seamless activation execution.
Coordinate with external agencies, supporting vendors and partners to ensure timely activation deliverables.
Maintain marketing calendars, project trackers and 360° program documentation.
Support localization, proofreading and distribution of marketing assets while ensuring alignment with global brand guidelines.
Assist in 360° program reporting and post-activation evaluations to identify key learnings and opportunities.
II. Retail Marketing
Support the planning and execution of retail marketing initiatives to drive customer engagement and store productivity.
Coordinate marketing support for store openings, renovations, pop-up activations and key retail events.
Partner closely with Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising and Store Teams to ensure flawless execution of in-store marketing initiatives.
Coordinate production, logistics and distribution of retail marketing materials, window campaigns and promotional assets.
Support VIC experiences, client events and local customer engagement initiatives.
Monitor the retail marketing calendar and ensure timely execution across the Japan store network.
Support retail communication and maintain close alignment between Store Teams and the Marketing department.
III. Marketing Administration & Cross-functional Coordination
Support purchase order creation, invoice processing and marketing budget tracking.
Coordinate vendor quotations, contracts and payment processes.
Maintain accurate marketing documentation and campaign records.
Support CRM, Digital Marketing and eCommerce initiatives through day-to-day project coordination.
Prepare presentations, reports and meeting materials for internal stakeholders.
Coordinate campaign assets with New York Headquarters and local agencies.
Continuously identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and marketing processes.
To Land This Role:
PROFILE
2–4 years of experience in Marketing, Marketing Communications or Retail Marketing.
Strong project management, coordination and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Digitally savvy with an interest in luxury retail, fashion and consumer marketing.
Experience working with agencies and external vendors is preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel and AI tools.
Native Japanese and business-level English required.
Proactive, adaptable and passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
