In this role, you’ll own how we bring to market and position Chime’s growing personal loan product to deliver clear, compelling value for our members. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, Lending.
You’ll partner closely with Product, Risk, Legal, and Growth to shape product narrative, influence roadmap decisions, and drive responsible adoption. This role sits at the intersection of growth and financial responsibility, requiring strong strategic thinking, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to balance business impact with member trust and regulatory considerations.

Full-time employees are also eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits. The actual base salary offered may be higher, depending on your location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
In this role, you can expect to
Own and execute go-to-market strategy for Chime’s personal loan product, from launch through iteration and scale. Establish best practices and frameworks for repeatable, high-quality product launches
Develop clear, differentiated positioning and messaging that drives customer understanding and adoption
Drive cross-functional alignment across Product, Growth, Brand, and Analytics to ensure cohesive execution

Own business outcomes: Improve product adoption, engagement, and retention through data-informed marketing strategies
Partner with Growth and Lifecycle teams to ensure effective multichannel execution and performance optimization
To thrive in this role, you have
6–10+ years of experience in product marketing with at least 3+ years of consumer lending or regulated financial services experience, including exposure to credit risk, underwriting and loan servicing
A track record of owning end-to-end go-to-market strategy - segmentation, funnel optimization and measurable business outcomes in a performance-driven environment
Strong grounding in product marketing fundamentals: audience insights, competitive intelligence, targeting, positioning, value propositions, messaging, acquisition / engagement plan development
Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product, Growth, Credit Risk, Brand, Analytics, Legal and Compliance
A demonstrated ability to lead through influence and drive cross-functional alignment and execution
The ability to translate complex product capabilities into clear, compelling customer narratives
A strong analytical mindset with experience using data to inform strategy and measure impact

Chime was created because we believe everyone can unlock financial progress, and we want to develop solutions and services to empower people to succeed. The premise upon which we started Chime is simple: basic banking services should be helpful, transparent, and easy. Our easy-to-use tools and intuitive platforms give members the ability to have more control over their money and to take action toward achieving their financial ambitions.
By designing a member-centric banking app with easy-to-understand financial tools, we’re creating a more competitive market with options for everyday Americans. We offer access to accounts with no overdraft fees, provide members the chance to receive their pay up to 2 days early* with direct deposit, help them build credit history, and build financial literacy to hit their goals—among many other things.
Since 2012, we’ve grown our team to more than 1300 Chimers across 3 offices. But more than that, we’ve expanded the products and services we offer to our members based on member feedback. And in doing so, we’ve disrupted the banking industry and changed the conversation for everyday people about money on a national level.
Chime is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services are provided by The Bancorp Bank, N.A. or Stride Bank, N.A., Members FDIC.
*Early access to direct deposit funds depends on the timing of the submission of the payment file from the payer. We generally make these funds available on the day the payment file is received, which may be up to 2 days earlier than the scheduled payment date.
