Lead upstream process execution including cell culture expansion and bioreactor operations for Gene Therapy products. Responsible for authoring records, maintaining GLP-compliant documentation, and driving continuous improvement in viral vector manufacturing.
Requires a bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemical Engineering, or Biochemistry with at least 5 years of experience in upstream bioprocessing. Must have hands-on experience with mammalian/microbial cell culture and a strong knowledge of cGMP and GDP.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to execute upstream processes, including cell culture expansion, bioreactor operations (bench, pilot, and production scales), and media/buffer preparation. You’ll also:
You have a bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemical Engineering or Biochemistry along with 5 years of experience in in upstream process development or manufacturing support in bioprocessing.

This role is based out of our San Diego, CA office and requires full-time, in-person presence to support hands-on collaboration, access specialized equipment, and/or operational needs.
