The Opportunity
Accountable/responsible for ensuring the consistent application and administration of the company’s warranty programs. Updates warranty information as required and provides accurate records and documentation as applicable.
The Role
Review and process warranty claims, including assessment of non-warranty part and/or labor for both warrantable and partially warrantable repairs.
Maintains communication with supplier representatives and support centers to determine warrantable repairs.
Maintains warranty parts records and ensures supplier procedures for retaining used parts is followed; processing warranty returns to appropriate suppliers.
Manage and track warranty claim reports to ensure delinquencies are being paid and handled effectively.
Ensures accurate record keeping and accounting of warranty programs through review and monitoring of claims and submissions for the branch.
Follows organizational guidelines and adheres to company standards by completing claims in a timely manner.
Communicates information with clarity (both written and verbal) to provide documentation required for warranty claims and submissions
Uses information and knowledge to make timely and appropriate decisions regarding warrantable claims.
The Candidate
Education: High School; College Diploma (an asset)
Work Experience: 2-3 years, in a service/warranty administration role within an industrial setting
Knowledge: working knowledge of processing warranty claims; specialized in heavy equipment and/or truck and coach industry sectors; competent with Microsoft Office – with a proficiency and focus on MS Excel and MS Word.

Compensation
Salary Range $60,000.00-$75,000.00 per annum. Pay may vary based on skills, expertise, and performance, and is a component of the total rewards package.
