Material Handler/ Forklift Operator
Position Summary:
The Material Handler/ Forklift Operator is responsible for safely maintaining the flow of goods through each step of the production process and ensuring all materials are stored in an appropriate manner.
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hour weekly rotating shifts

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain the effective flow of production parts from cast, to work in process, to finished goods
Ensure all materials are stored and maintained in an appropriate manner
Safely and efficiently operate material handling equipment (forklift, etc.) to facilitate continuous production
Monitor production lines and keep supplied with required components
Monitor on-hand inventory of component parts
Record information using appropriate documentation and attach identifying labels to products
Assist with shipping functions as required
Skills & Qualifications:
Forklift experience/ license is required
Must have the ability to communicate effectively
Previous inventory experience an asset
Working knowledge of manufacturing process and parts an asset
