Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Ensure maximum equipment uptime (MTBF improvement) across TCF/Assembly lines through effective preventive and predictive maintenance practices
Execute and monitor planned preventive maintenance (PPM) schedules for critical assets such as conveyors, tightening systems, robots, and utilities
Lead breakdown maintenance activities, ensuring minimum downtime and quick restoration of production operations
Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for recurring equipment failures
Coordinate with production teams to ensure zero disruption to takt time and line balancing
Manage and maintain spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical spares while optimizing cost
Implement and sustain TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) pillars, including Autonomous Maintenance and Focused Improvement
Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory norms, and EHS requirements during maintenance activities
Support implementation of low-cost automation (LCA) and continuous improvement initiatives for productivity enhancement
Monitor and control maintenance KPIs such as breakdown hours, OEE, MTTR, and maintenance costs
Lead and guide a team of technicians and contractors, including skill development and performance supervision
Ensure proper documentation of maintenance records, checklists, and audit compliance (ISO / TPM audits)
Collaborate with plant engineering / vendors for new equipment installation, commissioning, and stabilization
Drive energy conservation and utility optimization initiatives within the shop
