Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
1. Perform Should Be Cost/ Zero Based Cost of Trim Commodity Components - Exterior Trim: Bumpers, Claddings, Spoilers, Roof Rails, Footsteps, Interior Trim: Cockpit/ Instrument Panel, Door Trim, Floor Console Soft Trims: Headliner, Carpets, Sunvisor, NVH Acoustic Parts, Plastic Fuel Tanks and DEF Tank, for Automotives (PV and CV) and Tractors in line with Norms and Guidelines.
2. Should have background in either of the Function/s: Product Costing/ Product Development/ Manufacturing Engineering/ Business Development Should be adept with understanding of Color, Material, Finishes and Polymer Raw Materials and Manufacturing Processes
3. Should be experienced in understanding Product Drawings/ 3D CAD data, Team Center, Bill Of Material Interpretation, Mold Specifications and Process Specifications
4. Should Drive Material Cost Reduction during the course of Development
5. Should have Experience in MHR Calcuation. Should be aware of Industry Standards regarding Interest Rates, Labour Rates, Power Rates, Land Rates across Demograhies in India
6. Should be disciplined in Monitoring Cost Estimations over Product Lifecycle
7. Benchmarking of Parts based on High Level and Low Level Cost Driver Inputs
Experience
1 to 5 yrs experience in Product Costing/ RFQ Management. Product Development Experience will be an added Skill Set
