The Quality Manager leads the Quality Management System and SQF programs across two manufacturing facilities to ensure product conformance and customer satisfaction. This role drives a proactive quality culture through continuous improvement projects, internal audits, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
Requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of quality control management experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates should ideally be SQF practitioners with a proven track record in Lean or Six Sigma methodologies and RCCA tools.

The Quality Manager ensures all products meet customer requirements by leading the plant’s Quality Management System (QMS), driving daily quality activities, customer service support, and making informed decisions on quality issues. This role builds a proactive quality and continuous improvement culture by managing and improving processes that design quality into the product and verify conformance. The QM will lead these efforts and activities across 2 manufacturing facilities.
The Quality Manager oversees the accuracy and effectiveness of procedures, forms, work instructions, and communication to floor personnel, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and maintaining approval through all internal and external audits. As the facility’s SQF Practitioner, the QM leads SQF programs, tracks and resolves quality complaints, initiative, supports and drives continuous improvement projects and implements corrective and preventive actions. The role is deeply involved in daily QMS performance, monitoring controls, coaching teams, communicating with external stakeholders and partnering with managers and supervisors to investigate issues and develop sustainable solutions across the organization.
Company policies, procedures, and practices are implemented via this position. Quality of products is directly related to the effectiveness of individuals in this job. A broad base of current technical knowledge is required to ensure that standards are met, and efficiencies are maintained. Problem solving and decision-making abilities are essential for success.
A reasonable estimate of the current range is $85,100 - $115,000 + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Withinthe range, individual pay is determined by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. At Novolex, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
