The Atomizing Specialist is responsible for charging raw materials into furnaces and pouring molten metal into atomizing chambers while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. They also perform equipment maintenance, record production data, and assist in training other operators.
The candidate must be able to safely operate melting equipment and perform physical tasks like relining refractory components. Experience in maintaining production records and updating standard operating procedures is required.
As an Atomizing Melter, you will support the Operations department with the daily tactical support of the operations at the Eighty Four Plant. Reporting to the Atomizing Supervisors, you will work on safely performing job duties while striving to hit production goals. You will also have a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality. The melters will collaborate with other operators, maintenance, and management to determine root causes of problems as well as conduct some basic training of others.
