As we navigate a period of expansion and strategic initiatives, we are seeking a Shipping and Receiving Manager to join our team and contribute to the company's success.
The duties for this position include but are not limited to the following:
Work with department heads to coordinate warehouse activities, including production, purchasing, sales and customer service.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and 3rd party audits by working with QC, production and sanitation.
Supervise the activities of warehouse clerks engaged in shipping, storing and receiving products and materials, including overseeing timecards in ADP, performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
Maintain accurate inventory levels of finished goods, packaging materials and ingredients.
Review invoices, work orders and reports.
Report any damages or discrepancies for record-keeping purposes.
Inspect physical condition of the warehouse, forklifts and other equipment and order testing, maintenance, repairs and/or replacements.
Suggest improvements to procedures to save time and/or to reduce costs.
QualificationsTo be eligible for this position, candidates should meet the following requirements
Prior experience as Shipping & Receiving Manager in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with all related paperwork such as bill of ladings, packing slips, etc.
Hands-on shipping experience with Fed Ex, UPS and trucking companies, including FTL/LTL.
Forklift certification required (must be capable of operating both a stand up and sit-down)
Ability to supervise small groups no different shifts.
Computer savvy (MicroSoft and Outlook). Experience with Ross ERP preferred.
