Technical Leadership:
Provide technical expertise in brazing techniques, including vacuum brazing, furnace brazing, and induction brazing.
Understanding of material behavior during welding, including thermal expansion, distortion, and metallurgical changes.
Lead troubleshooting efforts for manufacturing challenges related to brazing and joining operations.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and materials in brazing and joining.
Knowledge ofnon-destructive testing (NDT)methods, such as X-ray, ultrasonic, and dye penetrant testing, to verify weld integrity.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify and implement lean manufacturing principles to improve process efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance productivity.
Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for process-related issues.
Collaborate with the FLIGHT DECK team to align with GE Aerospace’s proprietary lean operating model.
