About the role:
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Front of House Supervisor to support the day-to-day food service and hospitality delivery across our King Edward VI School locations. This role is essential in ensuring pupils, staff, and visitors receive high-quality, nutritious meals served with care, efficiency, and attention to detail.
You will be joining Holroyd Howe, one of the UK’s leading contract caterers, providing fresh innovative food services solely to independent schools and colleges. We are a team of experienced professionals who tailor our catering service provision specifically to suit children of all ages in order to meet the bespoke requirements of each school.
The safety and wellbeing of the people we serve is at the heart of everything we do. A key element is effective allergen management; achieved through training, communication, and care, we create mealtimes where every pupil has a safe experience. Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Support the preparation, service, and presentation of food and Hospitality to a high standard
Supervise and support team members, providing confident leadership and promoting a positive working environment.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across all service areas
Coordinate the preparation, setup, delivery, and breakdown of events, functions, and hospitality services.
Provide excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors
Follow all food safety, health & safety, and safeguarding procedures
Contribute to hospitality events and occasional out-of-hours functions
Accountability for following and championing allergen controls
Support management with planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Candidate Profile:
Ideally you will have experience working within education ,contract, or high-volume catering
Possess a good Health & Safety knowledge
Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer-focused
