Under limited supervision, responsible for monitoring and pursuing tactical and strategic initiatives/projects in a specialized area (e.g., commodities, vendor/contract relationships, or supplier management). Prepare analytical reports and forecasts in order to track product costs. Recommend appropriate course of action to senior purchasing/sourcing leaders.

• New supplier introduction:

Market scan by suing different information channel, analyse the information and selected potential suppliers.

Implement company sourcing strategy, use supplier selection knowledge and skill to audit the potential supplier and select suitable supplier for company.

Support the supplier on board and maintenance good relationship with suppliers

• Supplier Management

Develop supplier management skill to set up and keep the strategic partnership with supplier to support product and company development.

Help supplier to establish logistic system, set up the target for in time delivery and follow-up, help SQA to improve supplier delivery quality and process.

Timely solve the exceptional delivery issues in daily operation.

Organize supplier evaluation in certain period together with Quality, Engineering, Logistic.

• Negotiation

By using advanced negotiation skill to get optimal price, at the same time get better payment term, delivery and quality etc.

• Contract handling

By using certain economic and legal knowledge to sign the favourable supplier contract and follow-up

• Project management

Participate the team of project management, take the responsibility to fulfil the task defined within the team, such as inquiry, fill in the information of supplier and the information maintenance of SAP system.

• Routine case inquiry

Handle routine inquiry, including platform inquiry list and temporary sales/CS e-mail inquiry

• Review and optimize buying source for better product quality and cost saving
• To strictly follow the operational procedures of hazardous chemicals and other regulation
• Prepare for periodical sourcing report
• Other work assigned by line manager
