Job Description & Summary
About the role:
We are the world’s largest and most successful deal analytics and modelling team. Sitting at the heart of PwC’s +$10bn global deals business, we work with the world’s largest investors on their most complex transactions and restructurings.
Our purpose is to support the increasingly sophisticated client demand for advanced data-driven insights to underpin their critical investment decisions. We deliver this with:
A range of products and services that deliver transformational insights to our clients throughout the deal cycle;
Significant investments in cutting edge technologies and platforms
A world class and truly diverse team with a range of data science, technology, commercial, financial and industry backgrounds
As a Senior Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex, high-impact analytics engagements across the deal lifecycle. You will build trusted client relationships, originate new opportunities and contribute to the growth of our people, propositions and market presence.
For the right candidate, this is an amazing opportunity to build a career in an environment that fosters a creative and entrepreneurial spirit, with the unrivalled security, personal development, client access and investment that PwC brings.
We offer an exciting, continuous development journey to help you become a market leading deals advisor.
What your days will look like:
As part of this team, you will help design and deliver truly game changing analysis and insights to meet a range of business needs. For example:
Leading multiple high-profile client engagements, setting the strategic direction for delivery teams and ensuring analytics clearly articulate the drivers of value and equity story
Leading teams to develop data‑driven insights that empower management to make critical decisions and maximize deal value, while building high‑performing, inclusive teams by coaching, mentoring, and developing managers and junior members so they can thrive and advance their careers
Solving complex commercial and analytical challenges, combining technical expertise with commercial judgement to help clients make confident, evidence-based decisions
Producing high-quality client deliverables and executive presentations that translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations
Building and developing long-term relationships with senior client stakeholders, PwC partners and directors and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated client solutions and create future opportunities
Driving the growth of the Deals Insights & Analytics practice through business development, proposition development, thought leadership, recruitment and operational improvement
Most importantly, you'll help clients answer their most critical commercial questions using data-driven insight and strategic thinking
In summary, we've built an amazing team in which we’re confident you’ll have fun, learn loads, build confidence and have some fantastic experiences (personal and professional)
The role is for you if:
You will be technically minded, and driven by solving complex problems, and you get a kick out of explaining how you do it. You’ll be working with some excellent analytical brains and varying stakeholders for our clients, and for this reason you will know how to explain the technical details to non-technical people.
You will use your commercial and financial skills to understand the drivers of a business, analyse their data and use this to provide clear insights and advice to our clients. You will need to have:
Strong relationship building and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial and technical analysis into clear commercial insights for a wide range of stakeholders
Extensive experience in Alteryx, SQL, Python, and Power Query to solve commercial problems with large, complex datasets, and leading the creation of impactful Power BI visualisations and dashboards
Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent client engagements while maintaining exceptional quality and commercial outcomes
Experience managing multidisciplinary teams across analytics, technology, and transaction advisory while building inclusive, high‑performing teams that are self‑motivated and continuously learning
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance client value, engagement economics and risk management
Experience contributing to proposition development, practice growth, and market‑facing thought leadership, while successfully identifying opportunities, leading proposals, and driving revenue growth through business‑development activities
Must possess an ACA (or an international equivalent) or have equivalent work experience. This includes international candidates who qualify through experience in their home country
What you’ll receive from us:
No matter where you may be in your career or personal life, our benefits are designed to add value and support, recognising and rewarding you fairly for your contributions.
We offer a range of benefits including empowered flexibility and a working week split between office, home and client site; private medical cover and 24/7 access to a qualified virtual GP; six volunteering days a year and much more.
