The Associate Dean provides visionary leadership to advance the school's mission through strategic planning, external partnerships, and innovative program development. They are responsible for fundraising strategies, cultivating community and healthcare partnerships, and contributing to the overall governance of the School of Nursing.
Candidates must possess a PhD, DNP, EdD, or equivalent terminal degree and at least five years of experience in undergraduate or graduate education. They must also qualify for a faculty appointment within the applicable school.
Summary:
The Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives and Development provides visionary leadership in advancing the school's mission through strategic planning, external partnerships, and innovative program development. Reporting directly to the Dean, the Associate Dean works closely with school leadership, faculty, staff, students, alumni, and external stakeholders to strengthen the school's impact, visibility, and long-term sustainability.
