The Lead Diesel Mechanic coordinates daily shop workflow and guides technicians in the diagnosis and repair of Class 8 tractors and tanker trailers. They are responsible for ensuring all equipment meets DOT safety standards and maintaining an organized shop environment.
Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience with Class 8 trucks or heavy diesel equipment and possess their own basic tools. Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to lead other technicians are required.
