Perform advanced nomination, confirmation, and scheduling activities for local distribution companies and pipelines to maintain integrity and minimize imbalances. Coordinate with traders and customers to manage product flow, calculate delivery balances, and analyze operational reports.
Requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or accounting along with thorough experience in energy product scheduling and pipeline EBBs. Candidates must be proficient in analyzing natural gas accounting, transportation services, and interpreting industry contracts and regulations.
Performs advanced-level work related to nomination, confirmation, and scheduling activities for local distribution companies (LDC), intrastate pipelines, and gathering systems.
Initiate, schedule, review, and monitor daily nominations to maintain pipeline integrity by minimizing shipper imbalances
Coordinate with traders regarding overall daily scheduling and balancing positions on interstate and intrastate pipelines; report any problems to traders regarding flow of product(s)
Interact with customers, operators, producers, pipeline companies and others concerning nominations, allocations, billing, imbalances, daily flow and operational orders
Calculate, prepare, and analyze information or reports including, but not limited to:
Balancing deliveries
Nominations and confirmations
Pricing
Flow rates/capacity issues
Storage balances
Electronic bulletin board communications
Actual Usage – Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM)
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or accounting with job related experience
Experience and thorough knowledge of nomination and scheduling of energy product(s) volumes on pipeline EBB’s
Experience analyzing and resolving issues and/or questions concerning scheduling, nominations, balancing, and allocations
Experience and/or training related to:

Experience reading and interpreting applicable contracts, agreements, reports, statements, invoices, confirmations, correspondence, tariffs, government regulations, industry standards, electronic bulletin board communications, and company policies and procedures

Experience tracking all scheduling activities in accounting system and working with invoices and settlements
