Acts as the primary liaison between sterile processing staff and facility administrators to ensure all surgical instruments are ready for procedures. Responsible for tracking case flow, resolving instrument discrepancies, and analyzing operational trends to improve OR efficiency.
Requires a high school diploma and at least 2 years of experience in OR, SPD, or perioperative environments. Must obtain SPD certification through CBSPD or HSPA within 12 months of hire.

Communication is one of the most critical aspects of any job, but it is especially important in the Operating Room. Our Operating Room Liaisons are responsible for building important relationships between the sterile processing staff and facility administrators. They are the go-to person, making sure everything is in place for every surgery and solving any problem that could arise, whether it’s a missing or dirty instrument or a scheduling mishap.
This position will be located at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist. The hours for this position will be 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday.
Pay range for this opportunity is $22.68 - $29.35. This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
