Responsible for day-to-day pharmacy technician services in the Home Infusion materials area, including order fulfillment and inventory management. Collaborates with nurses and pharmacists to ensure patients receive medications and supplies accurately and safely.
Requires registration with the Minnesota Board of Pharmacy and either less than one year of experience with an ASHP accredited program or one year as a pharmacy clerk. Pharmacy certification (PTCB) and completion of a Pharmacy Technician program are preferred.
Under the direction of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for day-to-day comprehensive pharmacy technician services in the Materials area of the Home Infusion pharmacy. The Pharmacy Technician I is responsible for delivery ticket fulfillment, labeling and packaging medications and orders and inventory management. The Pharmacy Technician I will skillfully use interpersonal, customer service, problem solving and collaboration skills to support and influence operational objectives.
