Resumen del Puesto
El/La Empacador(a) de Línea realizará de manera eficaz todas las funciones requeridas del puesto de forma precisa, completa y segura, según se describe en la descripción del puesto de Carl Buddig and Company. Operador(a) de Rebanadora (Slicer Operator)
Cargar piezas de carne a granel (hasta 35 libras) en la rebanadora según las frecuencias requeridas de producción.
Realizar verificaciones de peso de las porciones al salir de la rebanadora.
Revisar e inspeccionar las porciones o productos rechazados y recuperar las porciones en buen estado.
Abrir paquetes rechazados y colocar la carne nuevamente en la línea para su reempaque.
Mantener el área de la rebanadora limpia y sanitizada en todo momento.
Operador(a) de Colocación de Producto (Cupper)
Colocar la cantidad predeterminada de producto cárnico en el empaque.
Rechazar productos que no cumplan con las especificaciones de calidad.
Alertar al operador de línea cuando la máquina se detenga o funcione con lentitud.
Mantener el área de trabajo limpia y sanitizada en todo momento.
Empacador(a) del Lado Seco / Inspector(a) de Bolsas
Colocar la cantidad requerida de paquetes en cada caja.
Inspeccionar los paquetes individuales para verificar que cumplan con las especificaciones de calidad a un ritmo de 21 a 72 unidades por minuto.
Mantener el área de empaque limpia y sanitizada en todo momento.
Colocar las bolsas selladas en recipientes plásticos.
Paletizador(a)
Asegurar que las cajas estén llenas según los niveles requeridos.
Marcar las cajas como evidencia de control de inventario.
Colocar cajas terminadas de hasta 35 libras sobre tarimas (pallets), asegurando la configuración correcta de la carga.
Notificar al operador de montacargas cuando un pallet esté completo.
Mantener el área de pallets limpia y sanitizada en todo momento.
Realizar otras tareas asignadas por el supervisor cuando sea necesario.
Estas tareas pueden incluir, entre otras, mantener el flujo de producción, limpieza general, retrabajo de producto, etiquetado y empaque de nuevos productos según los requerimientos del cliente.

Educación y Experiencia
Diploma de escuela secundaria (High School) o equivalente.
Mínimo de 1 a 2 años de experiencia en un entorno de manufactura.
Debe estar autorizado(a) legalmente para trabajar en los Estados Unidos.
Condiciones de Trabajo y Requisitos Físicos
Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno de empaque de alta velocidad y permanecer de pie durante 8 a 9 horas por día.

Capacidad para agacharse, inclinarse y ponerse en cuclillas según sea necesario para tareas de limpieza y otras funciones.
Capacidad para trabajar en temperaturas de 40°F (4°C) o menos y levantar hasta 35 libras durante períodos de hasta 30 minutos.
Capacidad para trabajar 40 horas o más por semana y realizar horas extras obligatorias cuando sea necesario, incluyendo fines de semana.
