Proficient in math for inventory calculations and weight measurements.
Strong reading and comprehension skills for interpreting documentation and work orders.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).
Familiarity with ERP systems and the ability to learn and adapt to new software tools.
Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
Prior warehouse or material handling experience is preferred.
Experience with basic inventory systems and kitting processes is a plus.
Preference given to candidates with the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand, walk, or bend for extended periods.
Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions, including hot or cold environments.
High school education or equivalent experience.
Ability to read job travelers and check significant components.
Ability to operate essential hand tools (i.e., hammer, screwdriver, pliers, drill, etc.).
Attention to detail.
Good communication skills at all levels.
Ability to identify parts and build from prints provided.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
Ability to read a tape measure and use the decimal system.
Willing to perform repetitive tasks while remaining stationary for extended periods.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
This job operates in a professional manufacturing plant environment. You may be exposed to loud noises or fumes in the plant facility. Proper PPE is provided if required and must be utilized. If it is not needed, the right PPE gear is available should you want to use it.
