Responsibilities
Coordinate the end-to-end development of proposals, RFPs, and pitch materials while maintaining the firm's CRM and pipeline data. Support strategic growth by conducting market research and managing BD project timelines across core sectors.
Requirements
Requires 3-5 years of experience in business development or BD operations, preferably within a PR agency, law firm, or consulting firm. Must possess strong writing skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM platforms, and exceptional organizational abilities.
Full job description
Infinite Global is an international communications firm specializing in PR, Content & Campaigns, and Crisis & Litigation. Our clients are ambitious, complex organizations that need to engage with sophisticated audiences. We provide the experience, skills and insight to drive brands forward and, in special situations, to deploy strategies to defend clients from reputational risk.
Our roots are in the legal sector, where our unrivaled depth of knowledge allows us to provide counsel to the world’s largest, most profitable and most specialized law firms. Other professional services firms look to us for a nuanced understanding of their businesses, a clear sense of the kinds of stories that make news, and tested knowledge of when and how to engage the media.
Our unwavering client focus sets us apart and our approach and success earns accolades from our clients and peers. We are consistently named among PR News’ “Agency Elite" and "Top Places to Work in PR” and have been for recognized as the “Best PR Firm” by the National Law Journal seven times.
What we’re looking for
A highly organized, commercially minded Business Development Manager to support the strategic growth of Infinite’s client base. Reporting to the SVP, Business Development, this role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution: keeping proposals moving, intelligence flowing, and pipeline data accurate while playing an active part in pursuit strategy across the firm’s core sectors. Ideal candidates will bring three to five years’ experience in a business development, BD operations, or closely related function, ideally at a PR or communications agency, law firm, professional services organization, or large consulting firm. This is a role for a proactive operator who takes pride in making a high-performing team more effective and who finds the operational side of business development just as interesting as the strategic side.
What you’d do
Proposal and Pitch Support
Coordinate the end-to-end development of RFP, RFI, and proposal responses; manage timelines, inputs, reviews, and final production.
Draft first versions of capability statements, credentials decks, and pitch materials; ensure all content is accurate, on-brand, and tailored to the prospective client.
Maintain and regularly update a credentials library and case study database; work with practice leaders and the marketing team to obtain approvals and keep content current.
Produce and update pitch decks, backgrounders, and presentation materials for introductory and exploratory BD conversations.
Coordinate inputs from content, digital, research, and design colleagues to ensure proposals reflect the firm’s full range of capabilities.
Identify opportunities to strengthen proposal quality and consistency over time by developing reusable assets and scalable processes.
CRM and Pipeline Management
Maintain the firm’s CRM (HubSpot) with accurate, up-to-date opportunity records, contact information, and pipeline status.
Track all active BD opportunities from initial lead through close; monitor follow-up actions and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
Prepare regular pipeline and activity reports for leadership, including monthly reporting to parent company stakeholders.
Work with the SVP and firm leadership to ensure the CRM reflects current priorities and supports forecasting and revenue reporting.
Build and maintain target account lists in support of proactive BD outreach strategies.
BD Project Management
Manage action items and follow-up resulting from BD meetings, prospect calls, and internal strategy sessions.
Coordinate strategic account planning efforts, including maintaining planning documents and tracking progress against targets.
Maintain BD calendars, pursuit timelines, and planning documentation to keep all stakeholders aligned and on schedule.
Support annual BD planning and serve as an operational hub connecting the SVP’s strategy to day-to-day execution across the team.
Research and Market Intelligence
Partner with the firm’s research function to develop prospect briefing materials, target lists, competitive intelligence summaries, and market trend analyses.
Ensure research outputs are effectively integrated into proposals, pitch materials, and account planning efforts.
Monitor industry developments and competitor activity in the firm’s core sectors, including legal, professional services, and financial services.
Support the identification of relevant speaking opportunities, sponsorships, and industry events alongside the Marketing team in support of the firm’s visibility strategy.
Commit to continuous learning and improvement of professional skills.
Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Infinite’s values (integrity, agility, compassion, and courage).
Why we want you
You have three to five years of relevant experience in business development, BD operations, or a closely related function; prior experience at a PR or communications agency, law firm, professional services organization, or large consulting firm is strongly preferred.
You have demonstrated ability to coordinate complex, multi-stakeholder proposal and pitch processes from initiation to submission, and you take pride in the quality and polish of the materials you produce.
You are highly organized with exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines without sacrificing quality or attention to detail.
You are a strong writer; you can draft clear, compelling capabilities and proposal content with limited direction, and you understand how to tailor a narrative to a specific audience and opportunity.
You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel, and you know how to build polished, professionally formatted documents and presentations.
You have working knowledge of CRM platforms (HubSpot or Salesforce) and are willing to develop deeper expertise in support of the firm’s reporting and pipeline management goals.
You are analytical and research-oriented; you can synthesize competitive intelligence and market data into actionable insights that sharpen BD strategy.
You are proactive, self-directed, and collaborative; comfortable working across internal teams including account management, research, content, and design.
You are professional, collegial, and service-oriented, and capable of representing the firm effectively in introductory and exploratory conversations with prospective clients.
You are highly resourceful and a critical thinker; you know when to ask questions, where to find answers, and how to operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
You have knowledge of the legal and professional services landscape, or a demonstrated eagerness to develop it quickly.
What we offer
Friendly and highly collaborative working environment where your voice will be heard and your ideas will count.
Opportunity to work with leading law firms and professional services firms on a global scale within an international network.
A focus on growth and professional development: twice annual professional planning sessions, regular access to leadership and mentorship opportunities.
Hybrid work schedule; two days in the office with three optional work-from-home days per week.
$175 one-time stipend for your at-home work set-up; $50 monthly stipend for your smartphone contract and a stipend to upgrade your device every three years.
Competitive salary and customizable benefits package including:
100% company paid health, dental and vision insurance coverage
401k with competitive company match
Monthly benefit stipend that can be used for health and wellness, transportation, student loan repayment or charitable contributions
Employee Assistance Program and free annual membership to the Calm app
Ample time off: 15 vacation days, 10 annual company holidays, nine days paid sick leave, one personal day and an “on call” period between Christmas and New Year’s.
Unlimited paid time off to volunteer and 100% matching of charitable contributions up to $1,000 per year.
Thorough onboarding and training process that extends throughout your tenure with the company.
The current annual base salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000. Individual compensation varies based on job related factors, including relevant experience, qualifications, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs. The range listed is just one component of Infinite's total compensation package for employees.
