Location: United States, Cambridge
Target start date: 01/11/2026
iMove, the Sanofi VIE Program, is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28.
PLEASE NOTE that since this program is primarily an international development program, candidates cannot apply to a VIE assignment in their own country of citizenship.

About the job
As Alliance Associate Management Public Private PartnershipsVIE within our Global Alliance Management Public Private Partnerships Team, you’ll be a part of Sanofi’s Partnering department, and will be actively managing the alliances and public private partnerships with other pharmaceutical companies, academic institutes, and small and medium sized companies. These constitute a wide range of indications and technologies, covering various aspects of the pharmaceutical research and development value chain. The majority of these alliances are multi partner consortia in the framework of the European Commission’s Innovative Health Initiative and Horizon Europe programs, as well as major US based public private partnerships.
You will also be monitoring timelines and supervising timely achievement of the deliverables and milestones. Alliance Management is on top of all non-scientific items of an alliance (legal, IP, finance…) in close relationship with the scientific leader.

Main responsibilities:
Support Sanofi’s Public Private Partnerships (PPP) strategy by engaging with key US partners (FNIH, C Path, ARPA H, NIH).
Identify, screen, and assess new collaborative R&D opportunities, ensuring alignment with Sanofi’s Play to Win strategy and external innovation goals.
Assist in the alliance management of global PPPs by monitoring project progress, KPIs, milestones, risks, and proactively addressing issues.
Ensure effective coordination and internal alignment across R&D, Legal, Corporate Affairs, External Innovation, and senior management stakeholders.
Prepare analyses, executive partnership briefs, meeting materials, and internal communications to support decision-making and maintain transparency.
Update and maintain reporting dashboards, documentation tools, financial tracking, and performance indicators for the PPP portfolio.
Support the preparation, negotiation, and implementation of complex public private consortia involving US and global partners.
Provide periodic reporting on project status, progress, and financials, ensuring timely follow-up, tracking, and issue escalation when needed.
About you
Experience:
At least 1-year full time work experience in biotech/pharmaceutical sectors and/or the drug development process.
Experience in alliance or project management, contracting or intellectual property management would be a plus.
Soft and technical skills:
Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders and to build cross-functional and external relationships.
Good organization and time management skills.
Self-motivated and an excellent team player.
Willing to work under tight deadlines and to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Education:
Master’s degree in science, Medical or Pharma.
Additional Master of Business Administration or other business/legal degree will be considered as a plus.
Languages:
Fluency in English, French knowledge would be a plus.
