The Food Runner is the vital link between our culinary team and our guests. This role is crucial for maintaining the seamless, high-speed flow of service, ensuring every dish is delivered promptly and accurately at the peak of its quality. We are looking for an efficient, detail-oriented professional dedicated to upholding our highest standards of food presentation and guest satisfaction. You are not just delivering plates; you are presenting the final product of the kitchen's craft.
Key Qualifications
Service Delivery Pro: Demonstrated ability to execute precise delivery by correctly matching food to the guest using table and position numbers.
Availability: Flexible schedule required, including mandatory shifts during nights, weekends, and holidays.
Handling & Transport: Proven capability to safely and efficiently transport multiple plates and beverages in a single trip.
Operational Savvy: Proficient use and efficient operation of all necessary restaurant tools and equipment.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively follow kitchen instructions and communicate with the front-of-house team.
Pace & Pressure: Exceptional ability to multitask effectively and remain composed in a high-pressure, fast-paced service environment.
Work Environment: Comfortable working in areas with naturally variable noise levels and temperature conditions (e.g., near the kitchen pass).
Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand and walk for the entirety of a shift, navigate busy dining areas, and be physically capable of safely moving and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Quality & Safety Check: Perform a meticulous check of every order for accuracy, completeness, special instructions, and dietary restrictions before a dish leaves the kitchen.
Standard Adherence: Ensure every plate meets the restaurant's non-negotiable standards for preparation and plating before it is served to the guest.
Effective Relay: Serve as the crucial communication bridge, quickly and clearly relaying any food-related concerns, special requests, or guest feedback to the appropriate server or kitchen staff.
Policy Compliance: Master and adhere to all restaurant service steps, procedures, and safety protocols, with an emphasis on managing food allergies and special orders.
Operations Support: Maintain strict compliance with all safety and sanitation standards.
Teamwork: Follow all organizational policies and procedures to foster a harmonious and productive work environment, performing any additional duties required to support the overall team and restaurant operations.
